55 minutes from downtown Atlanta, Piedmont Lake is located 2 miles off of I-185 South from Atlanta. Piedmont Lake is out of the bumper to bumper traffic experienced north of Atlanta.

“Harris Has a Heart”, the community of Piedmont Lake is home to residents who give back to the county we love. Harris county is home to the full range of Americans from all economic levels. We join together to ensure there are safety nets for those less fortunate. The Harris County School District, in partnership with the Harris County Family Connection, are ever vigilante to watch for students and their families who are going through hard times. FOCUS is the support group for families who need assistance. These organization along with hundreds of volunteers join together to lend a helping hand to individuals. Each year we gather donations for many events, FOCUS provides groceries to include Turkeys with all the trimmings for over 500 families each Thanksgiving based on the size of their families. In addition, Family Connection provides a Harris County Christmas to over 500 families based on the needs of the family and their requests. There is also the FOCUS Empty Bowl fund raiser along with many, many others. July is the month for Family Connection’s Back Packs and school supplies for hundreds of Harris County students. All the supplies are donated to Harris County Family Connection through community partnerships.
International Connections, 10 minutes from Piedmont Lake located in Troupe County, LaGrange, Georgia is one of Georgia’s newest International Industrial Development Parks. This research and development triangle, consisting of the Georgia Institute of Technology, Fort Benning’s research and development center, and Auburn University offers the best and brightest minds our country can offer. The Development Authority of LaGrange is the center of this triangle with a firm foundation from the combined investments of China and Japan, as well as U.S.-based companies like Great Wolfe Lodge, amounting to billions of dollars for Georgia’s world trade. Easy rail access to the port cities of Mobile, Alabama and Savannah, Georgia, along with the interstate highway system to these cities, provides the transportation network for industry. The LaGrange Industrial Development is 30 to 40 minutes from Hartsfield–Jackson International Airport.
